Glitz Production is the brainchild of sound engineer David Herget. Dave has studied music since the age of six. Prior to getting into the sound business, Dave toured the Mid and Southern U.S. as a musician. He graduated from sound school in 1985 and has been running sound ever since.

Glitz Productions became official in 1992 and has been growing ever since. The reason for this is Dave’s dedication to providing quality service that always exceeds his client’s expectations. “I always strive to be a team player and help the planners, artists, and audience to have a great event.”

Dave says, “Some of the festival committees have people who are unsure about what their needs are. If I can help them with advice, ideas, or suggestions, I’m always glad to. I feel it’s just part of the job.” So far that attitude seems to be working as Dave receives many of repeat customers from year to year.

From an artist’s point of view Dave is “the cream of the crop.” “Dave is simply the best!” says recording artist Becca Kaid. “ We have worked together for years. It doesn’t matter if we’re playing a huge festival, corporate event, or an intimate gathering. Dave and his crew are ALWAYS professional, easy to work with, on time, and just do a fantastic job.”

Poprocks guitarist Wally Hooker says, “Every musician has been in the position of working with a bad sound company, they run late, run way too loud, have bad attitudes, and are basically unprofessional. They make the artist look bad and they make the event look poorly organized.
